Happy Helloween !!!!!!!!

I actually got treats this year for helloween , although i did go to any party or activites . Remembered last year , I spent my helloween with the Beijing Gang ... ( wow, it seem like the Beijing Gang spent quite a lot of festivals together , mooncake festival , helloween , birthdays , christmas , New Year , China's national day ) They went to this restaurant called TGIF , Thanks goodness it's Friday , for drinks i think ...

This year ! I spent it in my classroom listening to lecture and presentation . -_-"

Angela got me a bag of treats on Monday , she picked out 10 candies ... and they are so cute !

Audrie surprised me with another bag during class, even cooler because she just touched down from Amsterdam and picked the sweets from there. Polished off a spongebob squarepants chocolate biscuit on the spot , it's good !

For the next 2 weeks , I am going to be busy busy busy ... then concentrate on my preparation for exams ... I got 1 month break from mid dec to jan !!! yeahhhh!!!

Gonna meet as many people as I can ... the list is getting longer . Seafood platter, here I come !     

Wow .. this year passed so fast , I just realised ...

maybe because I am trying to settled down and wait for everything to go on smoothly .. WHICH isnt going to happen!!!!

I guess I got to wait till next year ..

alright .. let's read my schedule for the next month and post it out loud before anyone say (again ) "wa lau , you everytime also busy " ...

for the whole of next month, every mon , wed and thur nights goes to my school.

I signed up for jap enrichment cuz I got this dread feeling that i will do badly, tues nights booked !

That left me with fri night .. hahah... how wonderful right .

Why didnt I mention my weekend cuz they are already useless for anything since I work on saturday morning and goes to aikido at night and the whole of sunday is taken up by my jap class .

Great .. I just promised the two ladies that after their trip from bbk , I will meet up. which mean 1 fri night taken . 3 more left ... any takers ?  

Went Waseda Senior High on Saturday, as always , I got curious on what was on the other side of Singapore. Living a the north-east for my whole life, I had stepped into the western territory of this countyr for like less than 5 times .....

Seriously , i never had friends living in that part of the land before .... nor had i ever taken the green line beyond the dover station ...

I think the people living in the west are different from those in the east ... they are more ............ ermmmm.... "look-like they live in the west face " hahha ... okay .. i know I am being stupid but i just got that feeling ....

About Wesada High , there is no bento ... hahah (I do care about such thing ) so 1 point for natsu matsuri ..

the ratio of japanese to Singaporean is 8:2 ... rather than 6:5 for natsu matsuri .. 1 point for waseda ..

Pretty interesting , except i couldnt understand why they cant speak proper english since they are educated in Singapore ... I mean people on the street speak english right , no matter how bad ... Here is what happened :

JAp Girl walking around with banner rallying visitors to visit her classroom with  "Shinobi"  theme: ~~~rattling in japanese ~~~ ( like people know what she is talking about )  

ME : Excuse me , er.. what is it about ??? ( I dun wanna embarrass myself trying to ask in Jap )

JAp Girl : Kore(this*) ? .. ermmmm... shoosh ,shooosh ,,shoosh ( doing something ninja action) ..ermmm.. iro rio ( various* )... ermmmm... said something in jap

Me : huh??? shoosh , shoosh , shoosh ??? ( doing the action with her )

JAp Girl : eto ... ano ... ( struggling to explain )

ME : ohhh.... ninja ar ....

JAp Girl : yes yes ! ninja ....

I turned to my friends : That one is ninja la .... wa lau .. the girl never even speak one word of english to me leh ....

Not said i want to say ar ... I speak singlish , my ang moh friend also can make out what i mean lor ... THe japanese ? Hopeless ....

Which means I must really practise my language seriously , if not , how to communicate with them when i go to their motherland .

I went to the ninja class anyway , had to go through different obstacles alone ,

1 stage : trying to throw a looped rope around a handle to open the gate (passed )

2 stage : shoosh shoosh shoosh ... tried to aim targets by sending those ninja weapons flying within 30 s . 

3 stage : find as many scolls as I can in a super dark room .. (eerily ....the torch they gave is totally useless , is dim ... and i dont understand the english instruction they gave so I didnt know need to find scolls ... ) I just panicked inside ...

4 stage : tried to complete a puzzle before this wall full of metal pricks reach me (didnt finsh it )

5 stage : go through a maze of chairs and tables,pressing on the switches along the way ( got to climb stacked chairs and tables ... and slide down -_-" )

Yeah... got a certificate graded on ninja skill... not bad okay ... grade 4 .. hahah

A class did a skit on hana yori dango .. funny .. but my feet got numb sitting cross-legged throughout the skit ...

Oh ya .. I didnt explain why there is this event ... is their school open house ... I dont think there is anymore jap events coming up ... so meanwhile I can take these time to polish up my proficiency in this language and DO MY MURDOCH READINGS !

There are various brands of shampoo on the market recently , especially those specially catered for asian hair.

I had a full thick crown but they are not exactly shiny and bouncy as those portrayed on the ads .

This friend strongly recommended me silkpro, gave me her testimonial.Sound good! 

Another one urged me to try Asiana .

Although i had the impluse to try these shampoo, the novelty and belief in them faded as the days goes. I couldnt be bother to go shopping for them and i had been using any shampoo my mum bought ever since i can remember .

when Dove goes on a discount , the whole family uses that,

when johnson & johnson got promotion of etxra 20%, the whole family uses that ,

when sunsilk give free gift , the whole family also use that ,

if my mum's friends recommened her some ulu mala brands , the whole family will be using that as well

So far , nothing major happened ... no receding hair seen on my dad yet ...

No one question the shampoo placed in the the bath rack, i think if my mum replaced with dynamo or mama lemon , the whole family will use that as well

Or maybe the ones living with me are exceptional.

It began when the big one started screaming or yelling for no whatever reasons ever since i know him..
And playing the same old recorder from his primary school all day long ...

He is still doing it now....

Come on , who play recorder unless they are in primary school music class, and he goes on and on all day ... I tolerated.

The smaller one got influenced soon ...

He started his series of gruntings and yells and dunno what hell of a noise ... I tolerated that too...

Great ! I live in a jukebox ! Except the sound were nowhere fantastic , irritating !

Just now , i heard something new .... the big one was trying out beatboxing  -_-"

Thank god , I am moving back to little india next week ...

No way i am going to endure the "pish,boom,tuk.pish,boom,tuk ....."

Summer Festival was held last satuarday , huge crowd .

Half of the people there were Japs , so people around me were like : "haru -chan, haru-chan , koko !!" " ichi , ni , san , yon , go .... "

Hahaha ... okay .. they don't count when they speak ...

My stomach was rumbling(peko peko) when i reached, and the yukata was damm tight ... but managed to stuffed down curry rice , tori karaage, croquette , okonomiyaki , ice cream , sushi ....

hahah... ok , matching yukata seemed a bit weird .. but we didnt have a choice ...
saw angel ! and met Jules and Oddball B and the small one after I passed her the coupons .

Bus 37 ceased service at 8pm , unaware ... i waited for it at 9 pm ... --_--"

Well , you see ...  I wouldnt really say i am living a hectic and busy life but is just that there are always too many things on hand to be dealt with and the routine just doesnt seem to settle down quite comfortablely .

Anyway , the good news is that this is my exam week and that means after this week , i just have to endure another 3 trimesters before i get my degree and free from study completely . I just came back from my exam , did it in half an hour .. cool huh ... i had never finished a paper so fast before .... kinda worried now , since i check up on my text and most of my answer are wrong ... batsu batsu !!!

Quited Starhub , and got myself another admin job . Full time this time ...\

So far so good ... things had started to settled down .And I have some pretty interesting activites coming up as well . Will be taking pictures !!

Aikido - grading on 4th kyu this week

JApanese - filling in application for this december JLPT 4(japanese language proficiency test 4) that is the lowest ...

Going out tml for sushi(I should be studying!!!! )  with FA since she had craving for like dunno since when ...

I taught her "chey " ... with the flicking hand action .. hahah .. interesting, but she doesnt seem to get it .. nvm..

Aikido was great today ! Although I was not too sure about the last move, and taught the beginners the wrong move!

Usually the after activity was the one looking forward to , late dinner and lots of crapping . Wow.. our gang had really grown from the 5 to 7 to 9 .... wahhaha... wonder waht will happen to the dojo if we boycott the training ...(not that we will thinking of that )

Next week is the mid-term test and 3 more week later is our exam ... in between we had the usual project and report to hand in ... madness ...

I wanted so much to score well .. ironically , I am slacking now ...

Japanese had advanced pretty fast too and I think the day that I cant understand a single stuff will come soon ...ganbatte huiying !

I havent made any close friends in my class , well execpt for anglea who is an foreigner, but we mostly talk about studies ... ok and some other things as well ...

Just now, YY said she think I am weird, Jules said she thought I was one big weirdo during my primary school day, yeah... I am just .. weird .. you know , just think differently from everyone else ... but hey .,.. I got friends and mates ...

which is so much better than other people , pretty pissed off after i read this person's blog because she was being such a hypocrite ...

OHhh ya ... Spice Girls are holding concerts ... I wanna go .. that will be memorable since I was such a fan in my younger days.. anyone wanna go ? I gotta save up since the nearest one is in hongkong, perth or beijing ...

Met F4 yesterday ! I meant tha met the other F3 yesterday,Wow ... it had been so long since we last had a gathering ...

When xiao ming suggested a chalet, i could remembered the one we had 3 years ago vividly ... That was memorable ... especailly the chicken wings .. whahaha ..

Decided on middle eastern fare for dinner, so went to arab street ... 
I had never been there, or it had been a long time since i went . The place was so quaint and rusitc ... it was terrific, I didnt know there is such a place here ...

After walk a few streets and lots of stomach rumbling from me and xiao mei , we settle on egyptian. We were seated on the second level of the shophouse, on this cosy,carpeted and romatically lit room .

Er ... okay! that was actually not the case , the room was so dim that we almost couldnt differentiate chicken from beef if it goes any darker. And it was warm and the rugs and had crumbs which our bare sole kept crushing on . Overall , it was pretty cool ...

The waiter was a bit scary though , firstly , we couldnt understand half the things they told us and i think vice verse ....

Xiao mina was like asking about this 3 egyptian drinks , and he was like

"oh , shikstiki is shiekt annnnde shkeitf  annnnnde hslkfbsime "
"Thissss isssss shijikititi , skitieikif, tithiiah"
This isss shijejep, hiehjeisjpo,shkitiikti ...."

-_-" Wa lau .. explain also like never explain lor ... I totally cant catch what they were saying ...

Anyway we end up ordering .. some food "shitiikiti , shitieikitke, shitioeeso"

Yeah .. i type gibberish ... That is exactly how they looked like to me , and some like too ...

Highly recommend the pita and the dips ... We ordered extra pitas cuz the dips was just too good and not enough pitas to go around ...The dips platter we ordered was pretty expensive at $10, with tiny portions of dips (humus , chick peas ,yogurt and spices , chopped onions , tomato salad, their chilli )

Had dinner at Black Angus at fullerton today ... the ribs was good ... so was the chicken wings ... but the mudpie, salad so just so-so .... and steak soup as well , thick and chunks of beef but too starchy for my liking ..we were so lucky , since we had at it by the river side with full view of the NDP rehearsal, we caught the fireworks as well.. awesome !  

I am like so broke ... but so many gatherings to attend, if i dun meet , i had no idea how long i will see them again since so many are leaving the country...

Haiz.... lunchbox for the next 6 months ...
